EVENT: Art Ache (July 2nd)

ART ACHE is a bi-monthly event that showcases New Zealand’s brightest Artists and their studio treasures in the relaxed surrounds of the Golden Dawn. Inspired by tales of turn-of-the century Paris where artists would pay for their dinner with sketches drawn on napkins, Art Ache was born out of Aimee M Ralfini’s vision to reintegrate fine art into everyday culture, challenging the traditional fine art gallery and exhibition stereotypes by making original pieces of art affordable and breaking down the barriers between artist and patron.

Art Ache provides young art lovers and future patrons the chance to buy REAL ART at studio prices to begin or add to an art collection. This Month is the first of a series where we invite an Art Dealer to curate the show. Using the Art Ache forum as an opportunity to showcase their favorite artists. This July show will be presented by LOT23’s curator Natalie Tozer.
